The short answer

All eight episodes of Neagley season 1 came out together on Wednesday 16 September 2026 on Prime Video, so there was no weekly schedule. The release landed on the day of the Reacher season 4 finale. Confirmed

The titles, in order: L Train, Team Building Exercises, Hammer Time, Breaking & Entering, Trip, Rocked, Lebron’s No Jordan, Touched. Credits below come from Wikipedia and the Jack Reacher Wiki. Only Sam Hill’s credit on episodes 1 and 2 is confirmed by the studio. Reported

Episode 1: L Train

Directed by Sam Hill, written by Nick Santora and Nicholas Wootton, per Wikipedia and the Jack Reacher Wiki. The studio confirms Hill. Reported

Recaps say the episode opens at 2 a.m. in Chicago, where a man later named Tommy Crane strips and walks into an oncoming train. Neagley hears of his death just after a kidnapping case, which she closes with help from Jack Reacher. Tommy’s last letter compares his commune, Echo Canyon Farm, to Lake Laverne Summer Camp, a place she knows he hated. Detective Hudson Riley is assigned to help her, and Keno, seen running from the station, mentions a truck shedding greenery. Neagley identifies it as buckwheat, the crop Echo Canyon grows. The turning point is a recording device she planted on a dead driver: it picks up a message that mentions Lawrence Cole. The recaps end on a man named Charlie Hall found dead. Reported

Episode 2: Team Building Exercises

Directed by Sam Hill, written by Nick Santora and Nicholas Wootton, per Wikipedia and the Jack Reacher Wiki. The studio confirms Hill. Reported

Recaps say the episode opens with a flashback to two weeks earlier. Tommy finds the severed finger of his friend Lulu and confronts Cole, who blames a bad drug purchase. In the present, Neagley asks her father when her fear of being touched began. He says it goes back to the crib, and she later tells Hudson he lied. Lab results show the powder in a letter from Tommy is rye flour, a recurring clue. Neagley and Hudson catch Ford, but a lawyer ends the interview and hands him a torch to burn off his tattoo. The turning point is Neagley sending Keno undercover into Echo Canyon. He ends the episode with Cole holding him at gunpoint, and a kill order is out on Neagley and Hudson. Reported

Episode 3: Hammer Time

Directed by Gary Fleder, written by Adam Higgs, per Wikipedia and the Jack Reacher Wiki. Reported

Per Wikipedia and recaps, the episode opens four years earlier, when Pierce Woodrow offers to finance Cole’s struggling Echo Canyon. In the present, Neagley wounds the assassin Davos on a rooftop and he escapes. Renee’s list of unlicensed doctors and Hudson’s cousin Mickey lead the team to the doctor treating him. The turning point is Davos telling Neagley and Hudson that Cole ordered Tommy’s death. Officer Murphy, godson of Deputy Chief Plemel, then shoots Davos dead, claiming Davos reached for his gun. Recaps say Davos had been sedated. Keno learns about the Project from Mandy, sneaks into the barn at night, and sees a man on Tranqlara hurting himself without pain. See our article on who killed Tommy Crane for the chain of people. Reported

Episode 4: Breaking & Entering

Directed by Gary Fleder, written by Kyle Long, per Wikipedia and the Jack Reacher Wiki. Reported

Recaps say a flashback shows Cole and Woodrow testing Tranqlara on a retired veteran, Owen Vark, and the test fails. Neagley and Hudson later find Owen in a psychiatric hospital. He says Cole promised to take away his trauma and that 41 patients came before him. Recaps say he was known as patient 42. Neagley breaks into Plemel’s house and finds that he put 800,000 dollars into a pharmaceutical fund. Renee finds that Woodrow’s Invection Pharmaceuticals is its top holding, linking Plemel to Woodrow. Gerry York, Neagley’s boss, is murdered. A Swedish man and woman break into her apartment and dose her milk, and she drinks it at the end, which starts her Tranqlara trip. Collider also places the spiking in episode 4. Reported

Episode 5: Trip

Directed by Phil Abraham, written by Lacey Herbert, per Wikipedia and the Jack Reacher Wiki. Abraham’s credit appears only in those wikis and Bingebase. Reported

Recaps say Neagley spends the episode hallucinating on Tranqlara after killers spike her cereal milk. Jerry O’Connell plays himself in a Tranqlara commercial, a cameo TV Insider and Decider both describe. During the trip she relives her father killing a man, which Wikipedia places in episode 5. Collider says it happened in the boiler room of their building, Decider says the basement, and TV Insider names the victim only as Elliot Percy. Renee finds that the structure under the barn is a missile silo built in 1965, and Cole built the commune on top of it. Woodrow’s board threatens to cut his funding. The Review Geek says he also answers to an unnamed boss, while Reel Mockery shows Rawlings phoning him after the board meeting. The episode ends with Neagley ambushing Woodrow in a parking lot and knocking him out. Read more on what Tranqlara is. Reported

Episode 6: Rocked

Directed by Phil Abraham, written by Adam Higgs, per Wikipedia and the Jack Reacher Wiki. Reported

Recaps say the episode opens with a memory of young Neagley being lured toward a man’s van to look at books. The episode 8 recaps tie a children’s book to Percy’s mobile library, so we read the man in the van as Percy. Neagley and Hudson link the case to Hamilton, where a journalist who researched a pharmaceutical company died in a fire. Recaps name the company Pinnacle Therapeutics and say it gave ADHD medication to at-risk kids, several of whom died by suicide. Hudson finds files linking the operation to his own father. Renee admits to Keno that she pushed him to investigate partly because she hoped her missing brother was at Echo Canyon. The turning point is Cole having Judith stoned to death after she doubted his leadership. Keno then finds Mandy in the silo, and guards trap him: she had betrayed him to Cole. Reported

Episode 7: Lebron’s No Jordan

Directed by MJ Bassett, written by Nicholas Wootton and Nick Santora, per Wikipedia and the Jack Reacher Wiki. Reported

Per Wikipedia and recaps, Neagley tells Calvin she knows he killed Elliot Percy, whom he calls a predator. Calvin then has a heart attack. The title comes from a password Boone gives Hudson for a contact who holds account details. Hudson steals and burns the evidence for that contact and fights Murphy. Wikipedia, The Review Geek and Collider say Hudson kills him, while Reel Mockery has him knocked out. Renee traces the money to Rawlings Corp and learns its owner is Swedish billionaire Arvid Rawlings. The turning point: Rawlings kills Woodrow and makes Cole his new partner. The trio ends the episode deciding to storm Echo Canyon to save Keno. Reported

Episode 8: Touched

Directed by MJ Bassett, written by Nick Santora and Nicholas Wootton, per Wikipedia and the Jack Reacher Wiki. Reported

Neagley, Hudson and Renee fight into the silo, rescue the survivors and Keno, and escape with the evidence before it explodes. Cole is left behind in the blast. Neagley injects Rawlings with Tranqlara, and he wanders naked into traffic and is hit by a truck. The turning point: Percy abused Tommy, not Neagley, and Calvin killed him. Calvin dies leaving an apology letter. At his funeral Neagley shakes Reacher’s hand, and Hudson asks if he can kiss her; she is not ready. Confirmed

TV Insider says Rawlings’ men plan to stage a mass suicide led by Cole. Wikipedia says Neagley detonates the bombs, while TV Insider and NME say Cole is left behind. Wikipedia describes Rawlings’ death as avenging Tommy. TV Insider and recaps say Neagley buys York Investigations and the season ends with her in therapy. Reported
